Abstract
Ceramids- the most important construction material in urban and rural parts of the north of Iran, including Talesh- is known as Iran's handicraft and a national industrial product. This product was in great harmony with Talesh sicial, economic.natural traits since the raw material and required laborers were provided there from.late in Qajar and then Pahlavi regimes, ceramics have been gradually marginalized
The construction campaign led a movement on the production of ceramics during the early years of the Islamic Revolution but it failed
The national are and industry of ceramics was easily eliminated due to the practice of the policy of the open economy.paradoxical policies in providing the construction materials, having no creativity and innovation in producing the traditional products, cultural deficiencies, and being heedless toward the requirements of elimination resulted in economic and financial dependencies, and being not in harmony with the region's ecologic, natural and social necssities imposes a nasty outlook to urban and rural environments
